PURPOSE:To have the non-linearity characteristics of the device come to an expected ones as close as possible by providing a rubber-like resilient substance between pitches of a wire of a cylindrical coiled spring which is used in a vehicle's suspension and has the non-linearity characteristics. CONSTITUTION:A coiled spring 15, in particular, a cylindrical spring coiled at unequal pitches and having the non-linearity characteristics, is embedded from the upper end to the lower end in the thick part of a cylindrical rubber-like resilient substance 15b coaxial with the cylindrical coiled spring 15. By adding the spring constant of the resilient substance 15b, the non-linearity characteristics of the coiled spring device may become close to an expected ones. |
