PURPOSE:A dentifrice composition, prepared by incorporating titanium dioxide as a discoloration inhibitor with a dentifrice composition containing a colored vegetable efective fraction, capable of inhibiting the discoloration with time, and having improved storage stability. CONSTITUTION:A dentifrice composition prepared by incorporating preferably 1-5wt% titanium dioxide, preferably containing 80wt% or more having the rutile crystal structure or 0.1-0.8mu average particle diameter, as a discoloration inhibitor with a dentifrice composition containing a colored vegetable effective fraction obtained by extracting a plant, e.g. a herbal spice, with one or two or more solvents selected from water, inorganic solvents and organic solvents. EFFECT:The effect of the effective fraction is not damaged. |
