PURPOSE:To dispense with a spring for returning a movable plate, reduce the number of parts and make a transmission compact as a whole, by providing the movable plate which is made of a magnetic substance and rotated together with a driven gear loosely fitted on an output shaft and by providing a rotary member so that the movable plate and the rotary member can be magnetically secured on each other. CONSTITUTION:A second output shaft 7 is connected to a rotary shaft 5a through a driving gear 9, an intermediate gear 10, a driven gear 11 and an electromagnetic clutch 14. At that time, a coil 17 is energized to magnetically secure a movable plate 15 and a rotary plate 16 on each other to couple the driven gear 11 to the second output shaft 7. The coil 17 is deenergized to put the movable plate 15 in a floating state and separate it from the rotary plate 16 to disconnect the driven gear 11 from the second output shaft 7. A third output shaft 8 is connected to the rotary shaft 5a through a driven gear 21 engaged with the driving gear 9, and another electromagnetic clutch 22 of the same structure as the abovementioned clutch 14. |
