PURPOSE:To automatically engage a friction clutch when a motor is turned and then completely release the engagement thereof after starting by disposing the friction clutch and a cam mechanism between a driving member and a crankshaft. CONSTITUTION:Since the revolution of a frictional engaging member 6 is subjected to a resistance by a retaining spring 15, rotation of a driving member 5 which is transmitted from a pinion gear 11a of a motor 11 may produce a lag of rotation from that of the frictional engaging member 6. A cam mechanism which consists of inclined faces of a containing space 5a and 6a and a ball 7 pushes the frictional engaging member 6 onto friction disc 8 against a conical spring 10, thereby transmitting the rotary force of the motor to the crankshaft 1. If the revolution member of the crankshaft 1 is increased higher than that of a driving member 5, the ball 7 is held in the deepest position in the containing space 5a and 6a, forcing the conical spring 10 to push the frictional engaging member 6 in the direction of the driving member 5 to completely release the frictional engagement. |
