LEAF SPRING MADE OF FIBER REINFORCED RESIN

摘要

PURPOSE:To give instant visual information on the worn condition of a leaf spring from the outside by providing identification colored bands at critical positions of the wear of each spring. CONSTITUTION:A leaf spring 3 made of fiber reinforced resin is slightly cranked upward at both ends to form a protrusion with the upper faces of those ends abutting another leaf spring 2. The abutting surface layers 2b and 3b of respective leaf springs have at critical position of wear identification colored bands D which differ from the rest parts. When the wear proceeds to the identification colored band D, it can be easily identified at a glance from the outside that the leaf spring 2 is just worn to the critical limit.
