PURPOSE:To efficiently and continuously remove a sheet of shrinkable film covering a container without impairing the coating of a container by blowing a jet of hot air to the surface of the film and melting it down almost linearly. CONSTITUTION:A hot air jet 5 to be spouted from a nozzle 3 is applied to the surface of a sheet of ahrinkable film 2 covering the surface of a container 1 and the film is locally melted down by the heat of jet, and the point of action of jet is caused to move from one end of the film to the other end, and by this, the film is cut by being melted almost linearly and the film is automatically removed from the surface of the container 1 and it falls down. By this arrangement, the film can be efficiently and continuously removed without impariring the coating of the container. |
