PURPOSE:To perform car height adjustment easily and steplessly by feeding the pressure oil generated by a pressure generating unit to a cylinder unit so as to operate a piston connected to a cushion spring. CONSTITUTION:In case said device is applied to a motor bicycle, when a baggage is mounted on the rear of a car body, the cushion spring 20 of a shock absorber 7 shrinks by receiving its weight and the car height is reduced. In order to keep the driver's riding attitude proper, the handle 29 of a pressure generating unit 6 is operated to rotate a piston rod 28 and to move it ahead in relation to a cylinder 25, then the internal pressure of a hydraulic control chamber S2 is increased by means of a piston 30 and this internal pressure is transmitted to the hydraulic chamber S1 of the shock absorber 7 through a conduit tube 23. Accordingly, the piston 19 of the shock absorber 7 is depressed against the cushion spring 20, thus a cylinder 18 and an outer tube 8 are moved upward by means of the reaction force of spring 20 thereby the sinking of the car body can be eliminated effectively. |
