<p>Full extension locking device which securely maintains the fully extended state of the stay damper, etc. for closing and opening of the back door of a car and which assures smooth contraction of the damper when an external force is added. An elastic cover (8) along the cylinder is fixed to the piston rod (3) and this cover is deformed and blocked by the stopper (6) provided on the cylinder at the time of full extension of the damper, and the locking is released at the time of contraction. It is possible to see whether the lock is working or not at the time of full extension locking, and there is no danger of hands being caught or hurt when the lock is released, and also the structure is simplified.</p> |
