PURPOSE:To analyze urea and urea derivative in a biological fluid specimen, by a method wherein each of naphthylamine compound, o-phthalaldehyde and polymer oxide material is contained in the same reagent layer or plural layers adjacent with each other. CONSTITUTION:Each of naphthylamine compound, o-phthalaldehyde and polymer oxide material represented by formulaIis contained in the same reagent layer or plural layers adjacent with each other in an analyzing element. In the formula, R1 represents residual group of aliphatic hydrocarbon, which may be saturated, unsaturated, straight chain or branched chain, more specifically alkyl group or alkenyl group. Compound represented by formula II is preferable as naphthylamine compound. |
