PURPOSE:To make an original holder light-weight and give a sufficient uniform pressure to an original, by using a member having stretchability and pressing the original by its stretching force. CONSTITUTION:An original holder 2 consisting of a thin sheet member having flexibility and stretchability has one end supported to a copying machine by a hinge 7, and a hard member 9 for giving a uniform tension to the original holder 2 is provided in the other end forming a handle 8. Hooks 4 are attached to the copying machine body as holding members which are engaged with original holder-side hooks 3. The original holder 2 is opened, and an original 1 is placed on an original set table 12, and the original 1 is covered with the original holder 2 to hold the original 1, and the tension is given to the original holder 2 in the horizontal direction. In this state, hooks 3 attached to the hard member 9 at the tip of the original holder and hooks 4 attached to the copying machine side are engaged with each other. |
