PURPOSE:To enhance sensitivity and color reproducibility by using a sensitive material for photographing contg. 3 kinds of couplers which form compounds each having the maximum spectral absorption wavelength at a specified wavelength and a sensitive material for printing and by imagewise exposing the sensitive material for photographing. CONSTITUTION:A sensitive material for photographing is manufactured by adding 3 kinds of couplers which form diffusion resistant compounds having the maximum spectral absorption wavelengths at 460-530nm, 560-630nm and 670- 750nm, respectively to blue-, red- and green-sensitive silver halide emulsion layers laminated on a transparent support. A sensitive material for printing having silver halide emulsion layers having the maximum spectral sensitivities in said ranges, respectively on a support is manufactured. The sensitive material for photographing is imagewise exposed and developed to form a negative image. The sensitive material for printing is exposed through the negative image, and by causing coupling reactions, a dye image is formed. |
