PURPOSE:To obtain a uniform coating film for an optical recording disk, by dipping the disk into a coating liquid tank while turning the disk, taking the disk out of the tank while turning it, hardening completely by coating film with irradiation of ultraviolet rays after a preliminary drying process. CONSTITUTION:An optical recording disk 1 of acrylic resin vapor deposited with a metal (not shown in the figure) has a center hole 6. At the same time, a volatile oil agent 7 having small surface tension is coated in a real round form at the coating material soaked boundary part around the hole 6. Then the agent 7 is dried completely, and a denatured acrylic resin coating maerial which is hardened by ultraviolet rays is coated to the area where the agent 7 is applied like a case when no agent 7 is applied. Then the disk 1 is turned at a high speed to throw away the excessive coating mterial, and then the ultraviolet rays are irradiated to the disk 1 to form a hard film. For a disk thus obtained, the boundary line is formed into a real circle at the inner circumference with no wave formed to the coating film. The figure shows a sectional view of a completed disk, and the edge of the coating material is clear owing to the agent 7. |
