PURPOSE:To reduce power consumption by controlling current flowing through a motor corresponding to the value of carry with turning ON or OFF of a transfer gate based on either a time signal or a carry signal while MOS inverters are arranged in several stages. CONSTITUTION:When positive and negative currents flow alternately between output terminals 27 and 28 of both MOS inverter circuits A and B, a step motor M is driven to invert panels 7a-7e of a time indication means 7 only as specified by an inversion command. Thus, when a carry signal q is transmitted, current runs between output terminals 28 and 29 of both the MOS inverter circuits A and B. If each of transistors existing in the circuit through which this current flows is regarded as one resistance R, this is expected to form an external resistance circuit in an output buffer circuit. |
