<p>PURPOSE:To easily strip off and remove a high molecular material stuck to a metallic article and to reutilize the article by heating the article in a specified atmosphere to carbonize the material and cooling it. CONSTITUTION:A metallic article having a stuck org. high molecular material such as rubber, oil, paint or plastics is heated at 450-600 deg.C in a gaseous nitrogen atmosphere to carbonize the material. The article is then air-cooled or cooled in a fluidized bed, and by applying vibration or blowing of compressed air, the carbonized material is stripped off and thoroughly removed from the article. By this method even a hardly decomposable material can be thoroughly removed as carbonized material the metallic article is cleaned while preventing damage, and waste gas is easily treated.</p> |
