PURPOSE:To realize the miniaturization and a reduction of power consumption for a magnetic recorder without using a transformer for oscillation and boosting, by providing a resonance circuit which uses an erasing head as a resonance inductance component and resonates with the frequency of an AC bias signal and then applying an AC bias signal boosted with the resonance of the resonance circuit to a magnetic recording head. CONSTITUTION:A series resonance circuit 14 consisting of a capacitor 12 and the inductance component of an erasing head 2 is connected to the output side 13 of an oscillating circuit 11. The resistance component of the impedance of the circuit 14 is about 10OMEGA, and the output voltage of the circuit 11 is about 5Vp-p output. Therefore about 0.2Ap-p current flows to the head 2 owing to the resonance, and the voltage is boosted up to about 100Vp-p at the joint between the circuit 14 and a resistance 6. As a result, it is possible to supply the desired and sufficient AC bias signals to a recording head 1 without using a transformer for boosting. |
