The hydraulic proportioning valve, for use in lorries, contractor's machinery etc., has a housing with feed and return passages. The housing contains a movable plug with passages connecting the system alternately with the pressure and return passages in the housing. The plug is pilot-controlled by two throttles subjected to the total pressure drop across the valve, one of them being adjustable. A system generates a balancing force between the housing and plug. |
