PURPOSE:To eliminate or reduce irregularity due to a dark current and to record pictures of high quality by storing picture information for one screen at the photodetection part of a frame transfer type image pickup means and shielding the photodetection part from light while said information is transferred to a storage part in the image pickup means. CONSTITUTION:The frame transfer type image pickup means 5 outputs picture information under the control of a driver circuit 8 and the information is converted by a video signal processing circuit 7 to a prescribed signal form. A shutter control circuit 9 is connected to the shutter means 3 of this image pickup optical system and after the storage time of the means 5 set in a setting circuit 6, the shutter 3 is closed under the control of a sequence control circuit 10. A signal processed by the circuit 7 is inputted to a display D and a head 14 and a motor control circuit 11 is connected to the circuit 10. The circuit 10 controls the whole sequence and while information is transferred to the storage part in the means 5, the photodetection part is shielded from light by the shutter 3, eliminating or reducing irregularity due to a dark current. |
