PURPOSE:To make parting of side flasks from press-formed articles easy and to make productivity high and quality stable by brinding a upper die downward into the forming cavity enclosed by the side flasks which are movable upward and downward along a lower die to form the material then moving the upper die upward and moving the side flasks downward while giving micro oscillations to the side flasks. CONSTITUTION:A forming material 7 is packed in the forming recess 3 enclosed by a lower die 1 and side flasks 2, and a upper die 4 is moved downward to press and the material is press-formed. Thereafter, the upper die 4 is moved upward and micro oscillations are applied to the flasks 2 by an oscillator 6. Then, water is produced between the material 7 stuck firmly to the flasks 2 and the flasks 2, whereby parting is made easy. |
