PURPOSE:To obtain an oil pump suitable for a two cycle engine, by providing oil supplying mechanism, which supplies oil to an air intake path and an actuating chamber of the engine and has the discharge characteristics at the time of a large load that is different from that at the time of a small load, in one oil pump. CONSTITUTION:A fixing pin 34, which is fixed to the housing 11 of an oil pump that is associatively moved by the rotation of a two cycle engine, is inserted into the other end of a plunger 27. A fixed actuating chamber 31, which sucks and discharges the oil in the entire operating region of the engine, is provided. A second actuating chamber 32 is formed by the plunger 27 and the fixing pin 34. A communicating path 35b is provided in the fixing pin 34 and communicated to the second actuating chamber 32. At the discharge stroke when the load of the engine is small, the oil in the second actuating chamber 32 is relieved to a combined intake path 41 in the housing 11. At the discharge stroke when the load is large, a relief port 36 is received by the plunger 27, the relief is shut off, and the oil is discharged, with the discharge characteristic being different from that of the first discharge chamber. |
