PURPOSE:To increase fuel moistening adhering to the circumferential wall of a cavity formed to the end surface of the combustion chamber at a high temperature, and to improve the performance of combustion by each forming convex curved surfaces among respective concave curved surface of the cavity. CONSTITUTION:The convex curved surfaces 20 are formed among the concave curved surfaces 19 of the cavity 16. Since fuel 22 from each injection port 23 of a nozzle 14 blows against the lee side surface sections 20b of the convex curved surfaces 20 at large incident angles theta2, rebounded fuel 22a is reduced, most of fuel moistening-adhere on the surface sections 20b and are moistening-spread rapidly up to the concave curved surfaces 19, and a negative pressure region 26 is generated outside a swirl 21. Accordingly, moistening-adhering fuel 22b is moistening-spread rapidly and widely onto the circumferential surfaces 18 of the cavity by air flows 27 while being blown strongly against the circumferential surfaces 18 of the cavity. |
