PURPOSE:To input a manuscript logical circuit diagram with correct readability, by absorbing the deformation of diagram in picking up the diagram in each small area unit as a lattice point label code. CONSTITUTION:A picture data inputted from a picture input means 11 is stored in a picture data storage means 12, and the picture existing area is split 13 into small region units two dimensionaly and the picture in the small area unit is expressed as a lattice point label code. Through a pattern disctionary memory 38, as to a plurality of standard patterns corresponding to prescribed patterns in the picture, the picture in each small area unit forming the standard pattern is expressed with the combination of pictures coincident with the standard pattern, not coincident but permissible pictures, and neither coincident nor permissible pictures. The content of the picture data storage means is collated with the content of the memory 38 to pick up pattern corresponding to the standard pattern in the picture data. |
