PURPOSE:To increase magnetic flux density and improve surface characteristic by applying means of increasing the content of Mo in the surface layer of a steel ingot or slab till the end of hot rolling at the latest in production of a unidirectional silicon steel plate. CONSTITUTION:A production of a unidirectional steel silicon steel plate by ingotting the molten metal consisting of <0.06 C, 2-4 Si, <0.05 Mo, <0.05 S by weight % and the halance Fe and unavoidable impurities to a steel ingot or casting the same continuously to a slab then hot rolling the ingot or slab to a hot rolled plate, thence subjecting the hot-rolled plate to one time of cold rolling or >=two times with annealing in-between, to a cold-rolled plate, and subjecting the cold-rolled steel plate to decarburizing and primary recrystallization annealing and further to final annealing thereby developing secondary recrystallization grains of[110]<001001> bearings. At this time, means of increasing the content of Mo in the surface layer of the above-described steel ingot or slab till the end of the hot rolling at the latest is applied. |
