PURPOSE:To supply band plates to a shifting truck keeping the attitude of supply always in a state of face up by providing a rotatable coil holding device in the upper part of a coil car of inlet side of a rolling line. CONSTITUTION:In a band plate supply line of electric welded tube manufacturing device etc., a coil car is run toward a shifting truck installed in the inlet side of a leveler. The coil car 11 is made up of a bottom coil car 17 and a top coil car 18. A vertically moving frame 28 is fitted to the body 25 of the top coil car, and a coil holding device 31 is mounted on the vertically moving frame 28 allowing rotation. The arm 32 of the holding device 31 is revolved by expansion and contraction of a cylinder 36, and a holding lever 37 is opened and closed by expansion and contraction of a cylinder 28 to hold the coil 7. The holding device 31 is rotated according to the direction of winding by driving the bottom coil car 17 and the cylinder 36, and the coil 7 is loaded to the mandrel of the shifting truck keeping the coil always in the state of face up. |
