PURPOSE:To facilitate maintenance and to improve efficiency of utilization by allowing a copying machine to function to transfer copy information and a filing function of a diagnosis and its information to a local station. CONSTITUTION:The copying machine has an external 2K-byte ROM, N-RAM, and 6K-byte CMOS memory and in the N-RAM, individualized files and fault data and diagnostic data on the machine are filed. In a file area A1, the total counted value of copies is filed and in an A2, the frequency of jamming is filed while the frequency of lamp lighting and fault mode are filed in areas A3 and A4, respectively; a call key is operated to diaplay them or to voice the diagnostic data. In a data trasfer system, plural copying machines are controlled and infromation on a copying machine is displayed on a control panel to perform logging on the control panel locally in addition to data transfer by telephone. Therefore, maintenance is facilitated and the efficiency of utilization is improved. |
