PURPOSE:A raw material oil for a cosmetic, obtained by winterizing the whole fat extracted from cow's milk under low temperature conditions, assuming a liquid form at ordinary temperature, having a low freezing point, incorporable with various make-up creams, lipsticks, hairdressings, etc., and having improved touch, slip and compatibility. CONSTITUTION:A novel raw material oil for cosmetics consisting of cow's milk oil having about -9--3 deg.C freezing point. The raw material oil is incorporated with a cream, lipstick, hairdressing, etc. to improve the touch, slip and compatibility of the cosmetics with the skin in use, promotes the absorption of the oil in the hair and supples the hair. The raw material oil is obtained by winterizing the whole fat extracted from cow's milk at -50--3 deg.C, preferably -30 deg.C, in the presence of hexane in a volume of about 5-50 times of that of the whole fat, collecting a liquid material with a reversal filter, etc., and recovering the hexane. |
