A dosing apparatus related to fuel oil tanks for admixing additives into the fuel oil. A feed pump 1 is incorporated into the device for introducing additives into the tank. In order to obtain automatic dosing of additives, the feeding pump 1 is connected to a current supply via the breaking contacts 3, 11 in a dosing relay 4 and a holding relay 12. A sensor 18 is inserted into the filling pipe to the oil tank, said sensor being arranged to sense the starting of a filling course, thereby closing a circuit to the holding relay 12. This will in turn close circuits, both to the dosing relay 4 and the feed pump 1, and to a delay relay 14 which provides holding current to the holding relay 12 for a predetermined period of time. <IMAGE> |
