PURPOSE:To form a blank part of desired size at a desired position in a copy by controlling the operation of a lamp for discharging so that a photoreceptor part corresponding to the desired area is discharged. CONSTITUTION:The lighting timing of lateral light emitting diodes is set by sliding lateral-position specifying knobs 11 and 12, and the light position among lateral light emitting diodes is set by sliding longitudinal-position specifying knobs 13 and 14. For example, the knobs are moved to detect variation in resistance value and the flashing timing of the light emitting diodes and an array- directional lighting position among the light emitting diodes are set according to said variation. Thus, the knobs 11 and 12, and 13 and 14 are moved to turn on light emitting diodes within a range of distance l1 for the movement time of the photoreceptor corresponding to distance l2, and this lighting discharge an area 1B of the photoreceptor to obtain a copy having a white blanked part there. |
