<p>PURPOSE:To improve the operability of attachment and detachment by using a fibrous material such as paper and nonwoven fabric for a contacting side for the photosensitive layer of a photoreceptor, and selecting the material which has enough rigidity to hold itself in a sheet shape on a naturally held condition and also has and light nontransmittance. CONSTITUTION:A fibrous sheet 10 of paper, nonwoven factric, etc., has enough rigidity to hold itself in a sheet shape on a naturally left condition and is light- nontransmittible. Then, the surface roughness of the contacting side with the photoreceptor is set to >=1mum in terms of JIS (Japanese Industrial Standard)-R(Z) and several cuts 10b are provided at the upper end. When the photoreceptor is a drum, the sheet 10 forms a cylindrical protecting cover with the contacting surface in and while both edges 10c and 10d are allowed to face at a slight interval, their center parts are stuck together with an adhesive tape 11. The photoreceptor is covered with this cylindrical protecting cover to protect the photoreceptor against surface flaws and optical fatigue.</p> |
