PURPOSE:To attain time division exchanging to other highways as well as terminals accommodated in the highway itself, by providing a means which ties an arbitrary highway of the time division exchange and an incoming highway with subscriber lines consisting of cascade connection of subscriber terminals and compensates the amount of delay produced in the subscriber lines. CONSTITUTION:In Figure, 8''' a is an incoming highway, 8'''b is an outgoing highway, 6 is an exchange controller, and 30 is an outgoing highway interface circuit, and a time slot format of a time division switch 5 is converted into a subscriber line 4P (e.g., coaxial cable) interface, and data are transmitted in a high speed bit rate, e.g., 2.048Mb/s. Further, a function feeding power to a branch relay group 41 and a cordless telephone use transmitter/receiver group 42 is provided. 50 is an incoming highway interface circuit which converts the subscriber line interface into a time slot format of the time division switch 5, further has functions compensating delays produced in the subscriber lines and synchronizing the lines with the other highway groups. |
