PURPOSE:To obtain a cleaning device which has a simple structure and a large effect for peeling off a toner, by constituting so that a rotating body itself such as a roller, etc., which has been made to press-contact with a surface to be cleaned and have an encroaching force into the toner and magnetic attracting force by a magnetic field. CONSTITUTION:Against a photosensitive drum 1, an elastic roller 2 of a rubber magnet is made to press-contact elastically so as to be rotatable. A magnetic toner 5 which has remained and adhered on the photosensitive drum 1 is removed, encroaching forcibly on the elastic surface of the elastic roller 2 which has been made to press-contact to the drum 1. This encroaching force becomes strong by elastic deformation since the roller 2 is made of elastic rubber, and is sufficient for peeling off the magnetic toner 5 from the photosensitive drum 1. |
