The distributor for cleansing and disinfecting agents in the cistern of a w.c. comprises a first compartment for the cleansing agent inside a casing (1) which incorporates a hook (20) for mounting over the edge of the cistern. A second compartment for the disinfectant is defined by a skin (8) secured to the periphery of a cavity formed in the external wall of the casing. Each compartment contains a pair of holes (3,4;9,10) situated at different levels, which allow the compartments to repeatedly fill with water.
