PURPOSE:To obtain an even carving depth and frosted glass, by so constituting that blasting sand is made to blast against the surface of sheet glass quite evenly by a slow transfer of the sheet glass and quick reciprocating movement of a nozzle meeting at right angle with the transfer of the sheet glass. CONSTITUTION:A roller conveyor 2 for horizontal transfer of sheet glass is provided and a dust cover 3 is arranged above the middle of the conveyor 2. Then, baking paint is applied to the surface of the sheet glass 39, which is baked by a baking device, the baked paint is turned into an elastic film, the sheet glass 39 is fed on the conveyor 2 under that state and is made to transfer in a horizontal direction at low speed. Then, when the sheet glass 39 is passed through underneath a blasting nozzle for sand and air, the sheet glass 39 on the conveyor 2 can be provided with a frosted glass part and the frosted glass part can be carved between the elastic films by the sand 41 blasted from the nozzle 7 along with the air as the nozzle 7 makes return movement rapidly meeting at right angle with a transferring direction of the sheet glass 39. |
