PURPOSE:To carry out efficiently the titled gas recovery, by setting a cellular reactor of the louver type following a preheating hopper in a high-temperature flue, reacting coke granules continuously fed to the reactor with CO2 in an exhaust gas so that it is changed into CO. CONSTITUTION:The cellular reactor A consisting of a refractory louver, following the middle hopper 5 for preheating, is set in a flue having an exhaust gas temperature of >=800 deg.C. The coke 7 having any particle size or a carbon source having a carbon content of >=70wt% is sent through the belt conveyor 1 and the receiving hopper 2 to the electromagnetic feeder 3 and only its required amount is cut out by it and sent to the hopper 5. The coke 7 preheated by the exhaust gas is reacted with CO2 in the exhaust gas in the reactor A, to form CO. When the diameter of the coke is made small with the progress of the reaction and it is lowered to the position of the level meter 9, the sealing valve 8 is automatically sealed and the coke 7 is fed to the reactor. |
