PURPOSE:To prevent the breakage accident of the ring from occurring and improve the resistances to roughing surface and to abrasion by a structure wherein the ring is shrunk onto the journal of the roll in such a manner that the rounded part formed at the inner peripheral surface of the ring is located indenting deeper than the lower end of the rounded part of a resin bearing toward the roll barrel part side. CONSTITUTION:As for the outer peripheral surface form of the journal 2, a rounded part 2c is formed so as to be connected to the end surface of the roll barrel part 1. The ring 4 is shrunk onto the journal 2 in such a manner that the rounded part 4b formed at the inner peripheral surface side on the front end of the ring 4 is located indenting deeper than the lower end 5a' of the rounded part 5a of the resin bearing 5 toward the roll barrel part 1 side. By shrink fitting as mentioned above, the indented part of the ring 4 ranging from its point of contact with the lower end 5a' to the rounded parts 2c and 4b sides toward the roll barrel part 1 side is not subjected to bending stress. |
