<p>PURPOSE:To restore a text completely, by preveting the duplicate register of an external character code and an external character font in an external character storage means by an automatic proper processing when transmitted external character code and external character front are already stored in duplication in a storage means of the receiving side. CONSTITUTION:A microprocessor 1, a keyboard 5, a CRT8, an RAM14, a printer 19, a communication controlling part 23, etc. are connected to address, data, and control busses of a character processing device, and texts are transmitted and received between this character pocessing device and another character processing device. The external character code and the external character font which are not registered in an external character generator 9B are registered preliminarily on an external character code table 14B of the RAM14 by the keyboard 5. Transmitted external character code and external character forn are received by a text buffer 14A, and contents of the table 14B are searched; and if these code and font are already stored on the table 14B, a processing is automatically performed by an RAM controller 15 to prevent the duplicate register, and thus, the text is restored completely.</p> |
