1. Multifeed, single-cylinder, circular knitting machine of the type comprising a rotary divided cylinder (1) intended for guiding and holding the needles (2), and a divided circle (6), which is also rotary, for holding and guiding the sinkers (7), which can move orthonally relative to the needles (2) and are intended for assisting the formation of the stitches and for holding the knitted fabric (12) during the movement of the needles (2), in which machine the movements of the needles (2) and of the sinkers (7) are achieved by means of two series of fixed cams (4)-(9), and in which machine : - the divided circle (6) carrying the sinkers (7) is mounted on a fixed ring (20), which serves as an element for guiding and positioning it, and - the sinkers (7) are guided boty by the divisions provided for this purpose in the circle (6) and by divisions (31) formed in the upper part of the cylinder (1), characterized in that : - the rotational drive of the circle (6) is achieved by the direct action of the cylinder (1) on the sinkers (7). |
