PURPOSE:To keep a constant level of polishing pressure for all styluses and to ensure the accurate polishing with high efficiency, by detecting the applied voltage of a stylus pressure coil which can apply a prescribed level of pressure to the stylus at an early stage of polishing and applying the detected voltage to the stylus pressure coil. CONSTITUTION:A stylus containing a stylus pressure coil, a jitter coil and a tracking coil is set on the key holders 2 respectively. Then the reproducing stylus of the stylus on either one of the holders 2 is put on the holder part of one side of a balance 5. The balance 5 is balanced, and then the stylus pressure, i.e. the polishing pressure is detected. The quantity of conduction of this moment to the stylus pressure coil is stored in a microcomputer. Then an index driver 4 is driven, and the quantity of conduction of electricity is stored to apply the same level of stylus pressure to all subsequent styluses. Then all holders 2 are turned toward the inside of a ring 3, and a polishing disk 1 is driven to perform the polishing of the stylus. |
