PURPOSE:To improve the collation precision considerably, by providing a comparison collating means by a binary data and applying information of multilevel data to a discriminating means. CONSTITUTION:A part to be collated is read by a reading and detecting part 1. A detection signal C is made multilevel by an amplifier and a multilevel circuit 4 and is made binary by a binary circuit 5 and is stored in a storage part 7. A controlling part 10 reads out a register multilevel data A8 from a storage part 6 and transmits it to a binary circuit 8 to obtain register binary data A2. This data A2 is compared with binary data B2 to be collated read out from the storage part 7 by a comparing part 11. In the comparison collation, a signal H is generated for the same level picture elements to open AND gates 12-14. The controlling part 10 inputs data A8 to an extracting part 9. The extracting part 9 discriminates data A8 has a high, middle, or low level, and a signal P2 is outputted at the high or low level, and a signal P1 is outputted at the middle level. Consequently, contents of a counter 16 are counted up by +2 for a sufficient black or white part to give importance to the degree of coincidence. |
