In a clutch release bearing for motor vehicles, comprising a rolling-contact bearing with two concentric races (3, 5), between which rolling elements (7) roll, which is arranged in radially displaceable fashion on a sliding sleeve (1) made of plastic and rests by one front face of one race (3) against a radial flange (2) of the sliding sleeve (1), the flange (2) being provided at at least one location on the circumference with a boss (10) which projects towards the rolling-contact bearing and, for the purpose of providing an anti-rotation safeguard, engages in a recess (11), larger on all sides than the boss outline, of the race (3), the boss (10) is reinforced on the side of the radial flange (2) which faces the rolling-contact bearing by the provision of a metallic reinforcing disc (12, 14) which, in the region of the boss (10), has a recess (13) matched to the outline of the boss. <IMAGE>
