PURPOSE:To reduce deterioration of color development density even in the case of processing in a short time with a color developing solution containing no benzyl alcohol, by color developing a photographic sensitive material containing an amino compound, after imagewise exposure, within a prescribed time with a color developing solution containing substantially no benzyl alcohol. CONSTITUTION:The silver halide color photographic sensitive material is provided on a reflective support with at least one silver halide emulsion layer containing a color coupler, and at least one of photosensitive layers and/or nonphotosensitive layers containing at least one of the amino compounds, preferably, an alkanolamine amine or the like represented by formula I (R<1> is 2-20C hydroxyalkyl, and each of R<2> and R<3> is 1-20C alkyl or the like), embodied by formula I-1. This photosensitive material is imagewise exposed and color developed with a color developing solution containing substantially no benzyl alcohol within a developing time of <=2min30sec. |
