PURPOSE:To elevate the rate of hits, by constituting a flying object so that it goes toward a target at constant altitude over the sea surface, flies picking up an image of its picture, and is steered by operating and deriving a turning-in start point and its end point from the longitudinal and lateral ratio of the image. CONSTITUTION:A flying object 1 goes toward a target 4 and flies, keeping constant altitudes over the sea surface. The flying object 1 has an image pickup machine, derives a value of the longitudinal direction (y) (constant) and the lateral direction (x) by processing a signal of a picture of the target, decides from its magnitude that it has reached the first turning-in start point 2, calculates the ratio of x/y, continues turning-in centering around the target 4 so that target 4 does not get out of the field of view until the ratio becomes about 10, decides that the flying object has reached the second turning-in point 3, when the ratio x/y has become about 10, ignites a terminal booster toward the target 4, increases a speed and goes straight on. In this way, the rate of hits is elevated. |
