The invention relates to an apparatus for assembling workpieces from at least two workpiece parts, with a multitrack feeder for one type of workpiece parts for receiving at a transfer line which has an assembly device and a discharge device for the assembled workpieces. According to the invention, the feeder is here a multitrack feeder (46) with a box-like receiving container (2) for workpiece parts, over the front side (4) of which the tracks (16) are distributed.
