PURPOSE:To efficiently obtain a copy having a high quality, by exposing and scanning an illuminating means, continuously operating at least one of copying processes except exposure, and executing the copying, while a photosensitive body is stopped in a section for exposing the photosensitive body. CONSTITUTION:An image of an original picture 100 scanned by a scanning and illuminating means 64 through a static image forming means 6 which is capable of variable magnification in the first section 59-1 between a pair of rolls 58a, 58b, and the first driving pulley 57d is exposed on a photosensitive belt 59. In the second section 59-2 between a pair of rolls 58d, 58e, and the second driving pulley 57a, the copying processes except exposure, that is to say, development, transfer, cleaning and charging are executed. Therefore, in order of the moving direction of the belt 59 along the second section 59-2, a developing device 19, a transfer colotron 22, a cleaner 24 and a charging scolotron 16 are provided. |
