PURPOSE:To make a small-sized cassette adaptable to a deck of a normal-size cassette, by securing the interlocking between a control lever which controls a pair of tape draw-out members that draw a tape out of the small-sized cassette and a member which gives the engagement/disengagement of an idler gear. CONSTITUTION:A small-sized cassette 32 having the distance between reels reduced down to about 1/2 compared with a normal-size cassette is loaded into an adaptor main body 21 having an external form exactly same as that of a normal-size cassette. Thus the cassette 32 can be applied to a deck of a normal- size cassette. When a control lever 27 is moved toward an arrow 38, a tape 37 is drawn out to the tape position of the normal cassette by tape draw-out arms 24 and 25 and an interlocking arm 26. A knob 27d releases a gear release lever 31 with interlocking to the action of the lever 27, and therefore an idler gear 29 engages a take-up reel 36. Then the reel driving force is transmitted to the reel 36 from a take-up gear 30. Thus the tape 37 is taken up. |
