The metering device for a core sand reprocessing unit for admixing a predetermined quantity of a liquid catalyst and/or binder to a measured quantity of sand comprises a metering gear pump (9) which is located in the feed system (4) of the liquid to be delivered and whose angular motion is a measure for the quantity of liquid delivered, the metering pump (9) comprising means (10, 11) for generating electrical signals proportional to the angular motion, and the drive motor (12) of the pump being switchable via the programme control means (13). These measures especially allow metering at any desired rate, which is instantaneously adjustable and remains constant, a continuous procedure and free programming of the metering device. <IMAGE>
