摘要 In order to measure the angle ( epsilon p) between the swivelling axis (13) of a measuring platform (11) swivellably held on an instrument platform (1) and a plane that is axially normal to an axis of rotation (3) of the instrument platform (1), it is proposed to hold on the instrument platform (1) a gyroscopic measuring instrument (9) which upon rotation of the instrument platform (1) generates a signal proportional to the angular velocity component in the direction of the swivelling axis (13). A quotient circuit forms the ratio of the signal from the gyroscopic measuring instrument (9) to a signal that is proportional to the angular velocity of the rotation of the instrument platform, and for its part generates a signal which corresponds to the angle ( epsilon p). The angle ( epsilon p) is displayed in a display device and/or stored in a non-erasable memory as correction value for a subsequent follow-up operation. Instead of the quotient circuit, an integration device can integrate the signal from the gyroscopic measuring instrument (9) over a prescribed rotational angle of the instrument platform (1). The integration device is preferably formed by a follow-up circuit for the measuring platform (11) which is controlled by the gyroscopic measuring instrument. <IMAGE>
