A serving machine for squash balls has a stock container, a launching unit and a transport device located between the stock container and the launching unit, a heating apparatus being assigned to the transport device and/or to the stock container and the launching unit having a launching channel which is limited on one side by the outer surface of a rotatable centrifugal wheel, which surface consists of a hard material, and on the opposite side by a rigidly arranged launching surface consisting of a hard and smooth material, and the minimum distance between the outer surface and the launching surface being substantially less than the diameter of the squash ball. <IMAGE>
