PURPOSE:To transport a toner exactly and to perform a clear toner development having the excellent reproducibility at a solid part without being misty and generation of fringe phenomenon at the same time, by forming a magnetic brush firmly by using magnetic particles consisting of the mixture of particles having a large average particle size and particles having a small average particle size. CONSTITUTION:Magnetic particles 2 having a large particle size are stuck so as to make cores of the tuft of a brush to form an outer form of the magnetic brush, and magnetic particles 3 having a small particle size are stuck so as to coil around the surface of the particles 2 to form the magnetic brush transporting a toner, by a magnet 4 disposed at the rear surface side at the surface of a carrier 1 of the magnetic brush. As a result, the magnetic brush is formed firmly, and the advantage claimed for a development by using a carrier having the large particle size which has the excellent toner transporting force and the sliding force on a surface of the toner image carrier is shown. Moreover, the advantage claimed for a development by using a carrier having the small particle size which has the excellent uniform-preserving property of the toner and in which the swept lines by the magnetic brush are hardly generated is also shown. Thus, the excellent effects are obtained. |
