For dispensing beer, use is generally made of stationary counter installations with beer tapping devices. For low requirements, beer tapping devices are also used, which have tins filled with beer. Lastly, it is also usual to tap the beer directly from a beer barrel. In order on the one hand to avoid the great expense for counter installations but on the other hand to be able to have beer ready for average requirements and at the same time to make the beer storable for a longer period also, an all-round closed and thermally insulated housing is proposed, which can be erected freely on a support and on the operating side of which one or more tapping cocks are provided, which can each, inside the housing, be connected to a beer can by means of a beer pipe connection, each beer pipe connection being connected to a common carbon dioxide body and an electrically operated cooling device being accommodated inside the housing.
