<p>Ink jet nozzles and writing voltages cause problems in the delivery of fluid ink to a point in a controlled manner. A shortened nozzle (12) increases ink flow and a metal plate (24) positioned on the nozzle allows a higher voltage gradient to be applied to the ink. The principal use is an electrostatic ink jet system which provides ink upon demand to print on plane paper.</p> |
